GEGENLICHT is not just about watching movies. It is your university cinema, which you can actively help shape. If you enjoy unusual films or are interested in cinema technology, and would like to contribute your own ideas to a diverse cinema program at the university, then you’ve come to the right place!

Where is the GEGENLICHT?

On stage 1 in the UNIKUM. Our home. Here we show you a film every Wednesday during the semester. How do you get there? It’s easy! If you know where Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg is, you’re almost there. If you know where the cafeteria entrance is, you’re almost there. We are located in the passageway to the left under the cafeteria and right next to the swimming pool.
