Here is our *cough* dusty film archive *cough* *cough*
Here at the GEGENLICHT university cinema, we are proud of our extensive film archive. Over more than 30 years, we have screened an incredible number of films and kept the screen well-stocked. GEGENLICHT has already given rise to quite a few of our own projects, such as the short film series Zwergwerk or the Office for Paracinematic Experiences, or B.f.P.E. for short, and quite a few people have gone on to make a career in film.
Of course, no archive is perfect, and we have a few gaps too. But here are all the films we know were once shown at the Unikino GEGENLICHT.
Unfortunately, we have already disposed of the paper files for the period prior to the summer semester of 1994. However, if you know what we screened, please do write to us with any information so that we can complete this list back to 1974 (yes, there was already a cinema at the University of Oldenburg back then).
